AMI CUSTOMS
A setup like that pictured is pointless in car audio, the bulk of demoing is done at idle and in park, not moving down the road. If I played my truck full tilt while driving down the road, it would be nuts lol. That's why I asked is it for cruzing or idel And the same can be done but flywheel mounded next to starter or in that area So it works at idel
Purplehaze
Very interesting indeed! AMI is right, we do need our output at idle. But John has a good point as well, flywheel mounted would give us our idle output. Something to think about for sure...On a different note, I went ahead and ordered a Sebring alt. to replace my a/c compressor. For those who say no way to losing the a/c, well in my car it's like this: The a/c hasn't worked in almost two years. Needs a new compressor and a new condenser. And my car is NOT a daily driver, it's only purpose is to be my toy. Even if the a/c worked, it would not ever be used. Ever. So, that being said, I have a big need for more power supply, and a perfect spot to mount a second alternator. Seems like a no-brainer to me... So my car will be getting a second alternator in place of the a/c compressor. I just hope I'm using the right one as an addition.
