Stephen Dunnington
I'm about to place a order on 2 Sundown 12's that will be pushing 1200w RMS and I'm trying to figure out what would be the correct type of amp for these(wattage wise). I'm trying to keep it a little cheap here

PsychoSoundz
any 2k should be fine mabe the aq(sq) 2200 to give u an example. ive used the kicker 2500 and a rf t2500... the t2500 is way more efficient and seemed like it had alot more usable power

john253a
Anything over 1k will do the job But closer to 1500 is better Your coil config will also play a bit 2x d4 is 1ohm stable so you need a 1ohm stable amp 2x d2 is 2 or 0.5 ohm Any quality 1200+ amp will alway make more If you run 1ohm final The aq1200 or sax1200 is what idd use if you have stock elect If you have h/o or some extra batt Aq2200 Sax2000 T1500

john253a
That box temp is ok But build or have someone build u a real box You'll get more output out of the right box the more power
