bassfreake Posted May 8, 2013 Report Posted May 8, 2013 I've seen a few people that used a metal bar to connect multiple batteries together. How do you determine how thick to make the bar? Do you have to do something to keep the bar off of the rest of the battery other than the terminals or would it be ok to have the bar touching the batteries? Ben Fultz Posted May 8, 2013 Report Posted May 8, 2013 There buss bars, the thicker the better, but average is around 3/8" - 1/2 thick 1 1/4" - 2" wide. And its fine if it touches the battery case.
