Smells good lol..yes I did just say that. I was stoked when My shca wire came...so bendy and price is right.

Oh it's amazing! Got my lugs in yesterday but was in New Orleans the whole day. Going down to home depot to buy a torch and some solder.

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.

Would you mind telling me why you are dead set on using a single subbass driver ???

If this was my truck, I would build a setup for 4 8" drivers ported and tuned to or about 28 htz and be done with it ...

... and install your amplifiers under the seat ...

It would give you SOO much more leg room and some serious robust bass response ... subs forward and port(s) up, I'm thinking a single 4" port ... unless you go with dual enclosures ...

Just money at this point. As it comes in I save it for college, I only spend as much as I have to on this hobby.

But thank you very much on your recommendation I'll take it in strong consideration. smile.gif.pagespeed.ce.Op6H3a25FY.gif

What I would do is screw the equasions and theories ... build you a sealed enclosure (wedge) behind the entire lengths of the seat (from b-pillar to b- pillar) and install your single driver in there and see what it sounds like ...

The only way I would do anything Isoberic is if you decided to cut the back wall and built a larger style enclosure ...

I liked my isobaric Randal. I had 2 12s push/pull between the seats and the box was a wedge tuned at 32 Hz. It was well rounded and got the job done. I do like the idea of the 4 8s and have considered it. RE makes those cheapies that are like $50 a piece(not that I'd suggest them since they are of questionable quality). Its not quite equal to the cone area of 2 12s but it's a lot more motor to spread power to. It's definitely assuming I myself have considered.

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
