XtremeSPL-SCAMMER Posted February 17, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 17, 2008 Here is the MTX amp that we hooked up and tuned.. and it just didnt pound anywhere close to that audiobahn The amp is for sale on this for sale thread.. here is the alpine type r15's again here is the alpine deck.. we used it on the install but he wants to use his pioneer deck instead.. so.. And here is the audiobahn amp and everything all said and done. XtremeSPL-SCAMMER Posted February 17, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 17, 2008 you did some tuning wrong then haha no.. everything was tuned right... just.. it is less watts than what that audiobahn does at 1 ohm.. that mtx mono amp birthsheet shows for 4ohm, 2ohm, and 1 ohm, but when we had it hooked up at1 ohm, it just wasnt pounding anywhere close to the audiobahn amp at 1 ohm. XtremeSPL-SCAMMER Posted February 17, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 17, 2008 On the birthsheet it says 1 ohm at 14.4 Volts.. it does 1200 watts rated.. but with how everything was tuned and setup.. those alpine subs justwere not hittin.. even with the bass knob and everything setup.. i spend 30-45 min just trying to that amp to get them pounding.. and it just wasnt workin.. he was may happier with the audiobahn amp anyway.. so.. thats what we hooked up... XtremeSPL-SCAMMER Posted February 17, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 17, 2008 not every time, but nice install he drove about 2 hours to get here.. and he said he would competein 129.9 139.9 bass race for me in Team Xtreme.. so.. i got to get him some stickers.. i know he can do 129.9 no problem.. might have tune a bit more and do some more mods to do 139.9 stable.. thats a huge bracket in its own.. lots of skill in that class..
