DubNDodge
Going to be racking up a lot of highway miles when commuting to college next year. I figured I should look into a radar detector. I don't go stupid with speeding, but always paranoid of getting pulled over. I've heard amazing things about the Valentine 1 and Passport 8500/9500 I really don't want to drop $400+ on a unit. I see all the cheap ones on sonic, I didn't know if any of them were worth a hoot. So if anyone has had any experience with a <$200 unit, or know of a sweet deal on an expensive unit, please feel free to share. OrionStang
If you're gonna get one, spend the money for a good one. My Valentine 1 has not failed me yet. In certain conditions, I get a warning a couple miles out. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

knowledge
i had many but the one that i like the most is the valentine 1 for sure, its very accurate and easy to use and setup. i had the passport as well but the valentine takes the cake. in fact i have one but i gotta look for it since i move, some of my stuff is still in boxes, ill sell it to yah if i find it. REFF'SMy linkEBAYhttp://feedback.ebay...ck&myworld=trueI love car audio so much because I will never be done. I can never win, and I will never get it finished or perfect. It always has me coming back for more, I can never get my fill of it, but I get what I need.

Can it detect laser? or why do some say that you are always screwed if you're hit by a laser.
