Lets put it this way, I gave it a nice 78 second play-through at a 2-ohm load with 350W RMS, and I couldn't even smell a thing. I mean, look at what I'm trying to deal with here......... lol, I'm trying to get another spider design because the rubber bands do the job, until they snap that is. It'll hit a nice deep note, and then *snip-snap* it broke 2 of my bands! so now the whole thing sits off, and that is what caused the coil to wedge into the clearing so terribly, it even scraped the magnets somewhat........ Had to get the old MDF off "Well there's your problem." Had to clean up the magnets: The coil even managed to scrape the nickel coat before I cut the music.
