Is it after school yet

I tried it like I said, just not with my car amps lol. I didn't expect to get home so late, so tomorrow I'll be back at 5, if everything is working then I'll try it.

I'm not sure the coil is good lol, I tried DMMing it and was getting some weird readings, so I tried to 9v test it and it popped once, but not again......

So it might be a blown coil lol or the lead connections are jacked and I need to redo them.

weird readings are because the leads and coil ends are wrapped together

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.

mmmm excellent point sir. And my DMM is really reallllyyy cheap. It's really only good for voltage lol.

what gear did u choose

I do use the freeway sometimes, so I went with 3.55 because It's already humming quite nicely at about 80mph already. I can hit 100 and maintain it but it's pretty sketchy lol

And in order to fit the serp belt setup on, I have to change my water pump, and he had this beautiful looking aluminum edelbrock long water pump so that's going in tomorrow for another $300.....definitely puts a cramp on my electrical funds, but I had to pull the trigger on it eventually.
