wccfan12
Going to an audio shop and getting the first little setup I saw because I didn't wanna save the money for a decent setup. When I installed my first real setup I didn't know a thing about setting gains and had it all the way maxed out, lol. Using prefab boxes. lokki
When I was 14 I bought a 300 watt amp (started with a k I think) and two 8 inch cannons. Hooked em up in my dads topaz. Instead of the remote lead my remote power came from something in the fuse panel under the dash to a toggle switch. One day he was driving me to the mall and the fuse surged and melted the remote line to the carpet all the way to the back of the car. 14 years later he still won't let me touch his damn radio lmao
herbykw
Oh yea, I also didn't know what ohms were or how to wire subs to amp properly. I just twisted the ends I all the wires together at the amp. 06 300C 5.7 Hemi K&N CAI JVC KW-AVX640 6.1" DVD DC Audio 3.5k 6 DC Audio 8"s 6 cubes 8" aero port at 32hrtz http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/183798-chrysler-300c-8-build/?p=2731834#entry2731834
SilveradoDeath
bad mistakes i made when i did my firs few installs were bad grounds, (not sanding down to metal/bad spots). under gauged wire, and not using a bigger wire for future upgrades. trading better equipment for crappier stuff.
