Give me more and more ideas for future things Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are! I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating! goodvibez Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 alrightyl almost got the box finished up its at about 90% so here goes couldnt figure out why but my freaking alt was charging my batteries waaay too high? for 12v that is now onto the box had to fix this screw because I needed more threads...biggest PITA!! My thread taps were struggling lol took almost 20 minuted of fighting but it works and no more bolt issues Then started painting the port with hammered paint again Next worked on the wire situation and this is why my third beffle is slightly forward so I can hide the bolts and you will just see the wires come out the back...no studs sticking up Started wrapping Then the fun one...came out ok...no pro by any means...that is for sure! couldnt resist hehe! I took more pics during the wrap process but wont let me upload them because I took them through fb messenger? idk anyway I'm letting that sit over night with the subs in so the glue will dry nice and shouldnt let the vinyl un peel night all! goodvibez Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 You figure out the alt problem? ehh not really I unplugged the second alt like over a week ego and that seemed to help them from kicking on and off three times, now it doesnt kick off ever. idk what voltage it actually did kick them out at because my vm-1 wasnt installed buuuut I thhink this is my system telling me to get the lows goin so I can really drop the bass and my voltage lol...gonna test the bass on one alt see if I really need 2....I will be putting the second one on an on/off switch just because when I'm not playing crazy loud I doubt it will be pulling it low enough but here are some pics thanks to scooter, thanks for showing me the right way haha Should be working on some seat brackets this weekend got my buddy coming into town that owes me some favors and my girl is in town and said I need to give her all my attention...then complains that I dont have any bass yet...she is very anxious to have bass playing in my truck hehe I wonder why? But I'm like well wtf if I work through the weekend I may be able to get the bass playing but you say I cant work on my truck..again wtf! Oh well looks like I'll have bups sometime next week! Maybe try toget the box back in the truck running really short on time since I didn't get to work this weekend But it's really close. Have to get it playing by Thursday. Also the seat came out great better thani thought it would. Will be sooo nice to be able to move it in and out of the truck or just fold it down so the port breaths better. All around just glad it's one thing that worked out!
