most 12 are in 2

and if your 2 gross, it might be a 10, but youll need a bit more info then that

and if the net works out to be to much

there are a few options you could do

1 add bracing or something to decrease the net

Give dimensions of the box please and details about its orientation like port width. Where did you acquire the box, what sub was in it before. Details will get you really good help

2 cubes ported for a single 10" sub it's definitely in the larger side. If you don't send a bunch of power to the sub, then you'll get one(depending on the sub) that digs lows well. Depending on who built this box, if it's a prefab, and port area it COULD be a good box to drop a nice 10 into.

sub was bult to a MTX 55 series 10......not prefabed, my friend built it , Dont know what its tuned to, Just looking for different options....any help is great

So it's a lower power sub then? Well you may stick with lower power handling subs and not throw more than rated power at the sub in question. I'd suggest Sundown E series, or Skar IVX series.

Ditch the box and start fresh, get the subs you want and build the box for them instead of the other way around which can be tricky and most times not worth it.

The BOX is always built for the sub and not the other way around.
