Things you like most about car audio

It's my way of enjoying loud music since my step mom dislikes loud music the fact I met really cool people who have similar interest that I do plus I only been a car person since day 1 the fact there so much to offer audio wise their always different set ups it's good way to get out of town to go to car/audio shows and visit places you would never think of going seeing people reactions and getting the pleasure of letting someone hear something so loud they never heard systems you don't see everyday

honestly the outcome and being loud is what i like most, but i like a system where i can throw come country on and its super clear and sounds great but i can throw some rap on and rattle the shit out of my truck. giving people demos when they come from their shitty prefabs to a box thats designed to hit the lows and the look on their face when the beat drops and their shitting their pants because it gets so low, and their not use to hearing anything ment for the lows because everyone around here is quite as fuck. sitting at a stop light and someone blasting their music and has a bit of bump going, then you turn your vol up and start pounding, and they look at you like "fuck you" because they thought they were loud... ha

Only time that's an issue for me is red lights. Lol. I'm stopped at a red light, car next to me is jammin out. I can easily turn it up and drown them out but, always about 40000 other cars stopped there too so, I'm forced to listen to it. Lol. Only once did I turn it up and let's just say it turned out to be a race. I won hands down.

But thing I like about car audio is there is no "wrong". If you put your enclosure right, have the right setup, it doesn't matter what you have. As others have said, you can have an entry level setup but still be challenging those who spent big bucks. You don't have to go out and spend $500 on a sub. Just fine tune your setup and you can make $200 sub a lot better than a $500 sub. This brand is not better than that brand. It's just the design of your setup. How well put together it is.

The fact that you can give three guys the same car, speakers, subs, and amps and get three completely different installs. No matter how they look alike, the install is always different person to person. The drive to get louder/cleaner. The customization and making your ride into what you want. The guys that get their hands dirty instead of having a shop do all the work.

The building process and collecting parts for that next louder than your last build and the community and the ideas I get from it. Also spl shows where even if your not running the lanes you can chill, get demos and chat with some fellow bassheads there are some down to earth people in the hobby we call car audio. One of my favorite things is hearing that new setup for the first time and demo reactions of course haha
