Wood's -2011 Altima- AKA "Red Ruby" : New Build (pg.150) #SpringBling

Recommended Posts

Decided to check in today and realized how far you have gotten. Everything is looking great. Keep it up.

Thanks bro!!! She should be Playing around thursday!! I'm trying to take my time on this box build, bt besides that everything else is in place :drink40: I'll probably do a couple of videos when I get her playing

take your time. It will be worth it. I have been trying to do the same with my build. I literally spent months designing my box before I built it and today I test fit it In my car and its too big. And its a birch box so it was expensive. But the good news is I can easily trim it down. But everything is looking good. I like the placement of the crossovers. Easy access.

Yes, I've actually designed this system since the beginning of the summer... My box is a little to big to push back as far as I wanted BUT I think if I cut this caprt that hangs and protect this wire bundle, I may beable to push it back... The Corner to the carpet hangs at least an inch and a half below the wire and my box would sit right below the wire bundle so I'm going to try that out first... if it doesn't work, I'll still have more then 4" in front of my port so It should still be able to function without choking the port area :) Big Trunk FTMFW lol but the good thing is even if I have to force the box back where I want it I know it'll be secure even more in conjuction with me mounting it to the false floor! and Thank you, I actually put it there to protect them more then anything... but yes the access is easier then dropping my door panels... I can get the glove box out in like 5 min.

Thank you for the kind words!! And Thank you, I picked it because it was a unique color compared to the normal white, black and grey altimas.. its bad enough theres 20 bajillion of them on the rode LOL so I wanted a stand outish color... Yes the box I'm building is for 2 sa 12s! I actually color matched the port today... now I have to go do some sanding and throw the main coat on there a some clear, brace it, carpet it and it'll be ready ;) I think I ran across your log when you first started it? You had pics of your maxi while its in the snow? I REALLY wanted one of those, but hey at least im still NICO!! :drink40: I really do appreciate it, and its going to be a NICE setup. Megan Coils and TSW (secrets) LOL... such a tease huh? haha!! Oh and also, I did run into an Altima with quad projectors and it was nice! only thing is, it won't fit my theme.. I'm going for a more simple approach where I want to bring out the little details rather then "putting it out there"... Its easy to make these cars look like ricers because of the limited type of aftermarket parts that are gear towards a "performance" look while I'm trying to go more of a simple/elegant look. I've done the sports thing when I had my monte carlo, wanted to try something a little more different ;)

Thanks man! Its my first full build so I'm estatic! And its been 2yrs since I had my last system and it's been killing me softly lol but she's almost there! She'll be playing by Friday and I'm going to the Turkey Drag and getting her DD-1'd so she'll be fully ready for play on Saturday ;) Also I was going to wait a month to get my XS D3400 but after recieving some GREAT news from my job today, I'll be ordering it next Friday!!!! So I'll have All SHCA OFC wires, 230a Stinger Alt. (which from test was HIGHLY underrated), and a XS D3400 for my electrical. Should be pretty damn efficient compared to the setup I'll be running! Hoping to see no less then 13.8-14 full tilt haha!!! It's a work in progess but she'll almost there!! Thanks for checking out my build!!!
