Great job man

Thanks bro.. Ik people are usually done with this step by now, but I'm trying to make them look as good as possible! I don't have school tomorrow, so I should at least have the molds repaired and cut, cloth wrapped around so that the pods are formed and hopefully a little bit of glass layed on the fleece itself before work... It's coming along nicely! Not too bad for a first timer :D

The first one is gonna be eh......but the second one tho....coming along very nicely sir....

I repaired them both :D everything is flush now... I'm anal about my work lol I'll be posting more pics of the progress I made today!

Alright, So I was able to make some nice progress today!

I did repair both doors so that they sit flush with the body lines with no gaps... The picture I am about to show first is of the door that was cut wrong that I did the most repair on.. and it came out good!!! :D

I know on the picture it looks a little off, but thats because it wasn't insterted all the way... I have the studs for mounting glued into place and I didn't feel like full mounting it because its a PITA to take on and off... which is a good thing for the final install because I know everything is flush and fitted tight and with the pod mounted, the door is STURDY !!

After the resin cured, I trimmed off the excess pieces so when its time to wrap the final vinyl, those pieces won't be in the way!

Closer look... and you can also see how I have the studs already glued in place so all I'll need to secure them is a ratchet from the back side of the panel!! SUPER conveniant...

And here they are after trimming the excess off...

I have class tomorrow so I'm going to try and prep/cut the chop mat to size tonight when I get off work, that way I can just soak the pieces in resin and have the pods hardened before work so thursday I can start focusing on the body work!

Doors are looking great man!

Thanks bro!! Everything Is fitting great and looking great so far... the only thing I'm reall worried about it the body filler stage, because I never mixed body filler before, so I don't want to mix it too hot... I Have some extra "bondo" body filler I'm going to play around with on a spare piece of wood since I bought rage gold for this project.
