Thanks Monte!!! I really Appreciate it!! I should have the body work done soon because I laid the mat down so smooth, I'm just going to sand it with 220 and hit the low spots since I'm vinyl wrapping them! I'm also not gonna be playing in the next week like I expected Decided to do my A Pillars too Trying to have the best of both worlds, SQ & SPL, or close to it haha

I have high anticipation for this sound stage.

It might be a little harder to get perfect imaging because of multiple speakers and such, but with a little but of phasing tricks and eq'ing I bet this will be the loudest, cleanest, most up front sounding front stage in at least a city block from his house

Haha Appreciate it Jeff!! I'm actually looking forward to the A pillar tweeter pods you suggested..! It will make everything sound so nice!!

Alright, so front stage is gonna go from 0-100 REAL QUICK lol...

I been planning this thing out with Jeff ever since we discussed about cone filtering. So plans are to make tweeter pods in my a pillar and have them firing at each other. I have some color matched vinyl samples on the way to match my factory pillar trim color, so glassing the pillars is a go!

Also we came up with the decision to seal my pods so that it enhances the midbass along with bringing out the vocal presence more. You ask how will I do that with reverse mounting? Good question, I plan to make one clean cut, then tape off the hole and fiberglass an outer trim ring.. once that is made, I will then fiberglass it to the original cutout piece so that so that it will have a "Lip" then I'll secure the full piece with a piece of Sound deadening... Also on the inside of the pods I will incorporate open cell speaker foam to help keep the sound from reflecting back to the cone to increase response...

In a nutshell... This will have Loud ass S's and Q's haha... Thanks Jeff (Swordboy) for helping me brainstorm to bring the best potential out of this as possible!!

With that being said, I would like to cast a vote on the design of the Tweeter baffle for the Pillars... I was only able to think of two simple yet unique designs that should incorporate pretty nice... I want to get everyone involved someway in this build... I've had a lot of help with this build from Swordboy, Goodvibes & Tecomah and tbh, it probably wouldn't have happened without them!! So to kick off another custom project I would like to get more SMD involvement from the members to incorporate everyone's ideas in this build

Pod B: "Half Moon" (meant to kind of mimic the door pod shape)

No leather or manual lol but That's what I was thinking too, but its weird because if you look at the a pillars, they have sharp angles in them
