covi1234
It possible to do hair tricks with 2 12s? I have audiobahn flame q 12s. 1200 rms. And a hifonics Brutus 1206d amp. Didn't know if it were possible by changing my box with this set up.

Krakin
lots and lots of hair trick threads lately... But as to the actual question. Just get a good box design and try it out. If it moves enough air to move the weight of some hair then yes. But I would think it would be pretty hard with that setup. I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener. Krakin
I can understand wanting to be able to do hair tricks. My build ,only a single VVX 10.v2 on somewhere around 800w, I know I can't do a hair trick with it. But when I play down around 20-23 it moves a lot of air but almost zero sound. I would recommend designing a build to be loud/musical instead of hair tricks.
