Sergeant_Skyrim Posted June 11, 2013 Report Posted June 11, 2013 Hey guys, quick question about mounting your amplifiers. How do you guys protect them from being vibrated to death? Rubber mounts, sound deadener on the feet, just wondering what everybody's way of dealing with vibrations is simple as that. And how much I should be concerned about it Build in progress
DubNDodge Posted June 11, 2013 Report Posted June 11, 2013 Personally, when I put my hand on the amplifier and can feel any vibration at ALL, there's too much. There are rubber feet you can buy on parts express to mount your amplifier. Sergeant_Skyrim Posted June 12, 2013 Author Report Posted June 12, 2013 Ended up finding these on PE, anybody else got any other suggestions or comments about these feet? Build in progress
SnowDrifter Posted June 12, 2013 Report Posted June 12, 2013 Replying so I remember to make you a little sketch when I get home. Putting rubber feet under the amp does absolutely nothing just FYI ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
