DylanBunch Posted June 11, 2013 Report Posted June 11, 2013 So i installed mine today and the bass below tuning (29hz and down) and the bass 40hz and up sounds super clipped whether my gain is all the way down or around where it should be. Also, 20hz, 31.5hz, 50hz, and 80hz on the eq is flat and ive tried lowering them and i still get a bad clipping noise. The loudness is off, crossovers set, and nothing is boosting the bass. Also, whenever i change the network switch, it doesnt change from standard. There should be a reset button on the chassis of the cd player either top or bottom (shows in the manual) See if that'll reset everything. Did you do the time align on it yet? I have yet to do mine and i haven't had issues yet. If i remember right though, i turned it off and back on again not noticing a difference in the clipping noise. Once you get into running active and using all the settings than hell yeah it gets crazy sophisticated lol. Jessica Posted June 11, 2013 Report Posted June 11, 2013 Pull the sleve back that is around the headunit. That is where the switch is. The manual doesnt make that part clear. \ edit: also, like others have said, after you put it in network, push the reset with a paperclip or something. When you go to set you LPF and mid hpf and mid lpf and hi hpf you have to select each one in Network 1. then hit back, go to network 2 and adjust the frequency in there.
