focused313 Posted June 21, 2013 Author Report Share Posted June 21, 2013 once again, it's not my truck. If he likes these wheels...so be it, but I have mentioned to him that I hate daytons on trucks. One thing for sure, stock wheels won't ever be on a car that he owns. Back to the audio, I'm feeling around other parts of the forum now for equipment suggestions, but the car is still in the shop getting fuel pumps, tune up, etc... There's something going on with the rear hatch lock, so the #1 priority is getting that stuff together. I suggested that he just take it to the GM dealership and get a complete diagnostic test so we'll know everything that is wrong, then we can prioritize repairs. Does anyone have any pictures of a double din/tablet mounted in this series of dash? Jimmies, Blazers, S-10 trucks, etc.. 91-94 I believe? Thanks. His goal is to have it ready by the dream cruise, which is August 17th-ish. Learning Everyday. focused313 Posted June 22, 2013 Author Report Share Posted June 22, 2013 here's my basic mock up... so far I know we will have Front State - db6501 Subwoofers - 2 - 12' Alpine Type R 12D4 Subwoofer Amp - BRX1600.1D or 2000.1D Front State Amp - BRX6404.4 Secondary Battery - D975 Still not set on the head unit, rather it will be a tablet or double din. There will not be a plexi glass window on the box, I just got lazy doing the mock up. The typhoon logo will just be raised mdf. The box covering/amp rack material hasn't been chosen.
