Anyone know much about this amp? As in, is it quality equipment? I have been told that it is rated around 2400 watts 2ohm bridged, does that sound legit?

I am looking at picking one up this week for around $300 and am trying to figure out whether that is a decent deal. I would be upgrading from a Hifonics brz-2100. Thanks

Yes it is quality equipment. And the $300 is well worth it.

You're going from 2100 to 2400? You won't be able to audibly hear a difference. But to answer your question yes they are good.

He'll notice less voltage drop, thus better efficiency, so there might be an audible difference. Jeff had those in his suburban running all his mids and highs. You know how loud and clear that burban is Jacob lol

Right on, thanks for the input. I am figuring this to be a huge increase in power actually.

With the Hifonics, it is 2100 at 1ohm. My subs are currently wired to 2ohm, and after clamping it the other day (gains set by dmm and not oscope) I am only seeing between 700 and 900 watts between 30 and 60hz.

The Cadence is rated at 2200 @ 2ohms bridged so that seems a better fit. I am guessing that my actual power will almost double. And if it is a more efficient and better quality amp, then it seems like a no brainer in this case. Thanks much!

Big 3, stock alt and optima blue top up front. Looking into battery upgrades for the rear, just don't want to spend much on it until I find that I need it. I hold pretty steady around 13.2 or so right now on decaf music. If I get it and can't keep it in the upper 12s I will definitely make changes as needed.

take the blue top out I heard nothing but bad things about them and run xs or Kinetik battery and step up the alt to 250amp and should be good if not might have to add 2nd battery but shouldn't
