what upgrade will be best for right now?

Recommended Posts

ok, so ive been looking at 2 new subs for awhile and if i sell my subs i have now and my old prefab box i would be able to get these 2 new ones which would be able to take my t2500 power a lot better. that is one option i have, the other is to upgrade my rebuilt alt that ive had since last year, its a 140 amp alt. ive got one batt in the engine bay and one stinger batt in the back, ive been looking at a 250 or higher alt. i only have enough money to upgrade on or the other before the next comp ill be going too, im hoping to see higher numbers from either the higher voltage or better subs. my only other concern is that since the new subs will handle a lot more power than my current ones, wouldnt my voltage drop be more than my current setup?

Better alt before anything else. Best subs in the world aren't shit if you're dropping to 10 volts on a 12.8-14.4 systems..........
