Brandonbkd Posted June 18, 2013 Report Share Posted June 18, 2013 So im looking in to buying a RF P1000X1D amp and ive done all my research and RF says that the amp is rated at 1000w rms @ 1 ohm but does not have a dynamic power rating. Is the amp stable for 1 ohm? I will be using it to power a Fi BL18. BoomZoom808 Posted June 18, 2013 Report Share Posted June 18, 2013 Never tired to run mine at 1 ohm yet but I slam mine all day at 2 ohm at it is still cool barely lukewarm so I would think 1 ohm would be no problem for it at all. BoomZoom808 Posted June 18, 2013 Report Share Posted June 18, 2013 Correct, but I believe he is referring to the P1000X1D which I own (red, silver, black case) not the P1000-1bd (black case) both should do 1 ohm no problem. I also believe the P1000X1D makes more power at 2 ohms.
