2010 Toyota Camry SE Audio/Somewhat Performance Build

Recommended Posts

That intake is fucking useless anyway. Its sucking hot-as-hell under hood air. Never understood why people even consider those shorty intakes.

yea their dumb in my opinion as well, short ram intakes only suck in warm air..add no gains, people afraid to go CAI cause of hydrolocking, which i have never had happen before, or seen happen before... unless you driving in 3ft of water

LOL not really, the stock air system has tubing leading from the front grill to the stock airbox, which the shorty is sitting in, not completely exposed to the engine sitting away from the manifold. Not really, concerned about performance anyways, if i was i would've ordered a takeda (which just sits in the heatshield not getting any cold air flow like from the stock tubing) and got a dyno tune

  • 3 weeks later...

Finally getting some audio in the Camry. Its not gonna be anything special at all but it's gonna be nice. My cousin is loaning me his MTX Terminator 12's in a custom double baffle 4 cubic foot box tuned to 35 hz that was built for prototype SSA ICONs my other cousin had back in the day. This box is no joke and makes them budget subs shine. Gonna be ordering an MB Quart amp tomorrow to power them. Like I said it's not anything special, but the box helps out a ton and he's giving me the box once I get some 12's of my own bought :)
