Joe X
Assuming the sub is a dual 4 ohm it will nominally put 1000W RMS but I think it will be more like 800W or so RMS.
Smoove
Your first problem is that if the amp does anywhere near rated it will be way more than an He2 can handle. The HE is rated at 500wrms. Details: frequency response 22-400 Hz power range 125-500 watts RMS (each voice coil handles 250 watts RMS) peak power 1,000 watts sensitivity 89 dB SPL 4-ohm impedance top mount depth 7-1/2" sealed box volume 2.0-4.0 cubic feet ported box volume 2.0-4.0 cubic feet 2 Team Fi 15's v1 2 DD M5's 970amps of Alt 6th order blowthroughThe truck Blowthrough build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/155555-smooves-1996-chevy-ext-cab-c1500-slow-build/The 350z build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/170694-smooves-2003-nissan-350z/ My FB page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Smooves-Car-Audio-and-performance/719746144805343 Team Fi Audio http://www.ficaraudio.com/

Smoove
I rechecked the specs. The site I was on only gave the "Dynamic Power Rating" . So he could get away with using this amp at 4ohm. I would love to see this amp on an AD-1 RMS Power Rating:4 ohms: 500 watts x 1 chan. 2 ohms: 1000 watts x 1 chan. 1 ohm: 2000 watts x 1 chan. Dynamic Power Rating:4 ohms: 1000 watts x 1 chan. 2 ohms: 2000 watts x 1 chan. 1 ohm: 4000 watts x 1 chan 2 Team Fi 15's v1 2 DD M5's 970amps of Alt 6th order blowthroughThe truck Blowthrough build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/155555-smooves-1996-chevy-ext-cab-c1500-slow-build/The 350z build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/170694-smooves-2003-nissan-350z/ My FB page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Smooves-Car-Audio-and-performance/719746144805343 Team Fi Audio http://www.ficaraudio.com/
