box design for noobs

i have a brand new rockford fosgate he2 15''

and my amplifier is a m4000.1D by Autotek

the problem is that i know nothing about box designing or port tuning

that's way i need your help

can someone send me the info i need?

Assuming the sub is a dual 4 ohm it will nominally put 1000W RMS but I think it will be more like 800W or so RMS.

Your first problem is that if the amp does anywhere near rated it will be way more than an He2 can handle. The HE is rated at 500wrms.

Amp does 500W at 1ohm according to Sonic.

I rechecked the specs. The site I was on only gave the "Dynamic Power Rating" . So he could get away with using this amp at 4ohm. I would love to see this amp on an AD-1
