ncc74656
everything was working fine last night and I went to start the truck this morning and my sub was not making any sound. I thought the wire came disconnected because the box move sideways but it did not. I plugged and iPod directly into the RCA's on the kicker and a known working speaker into the output. There is no sound coming out of the sub. The amps light comes on, the project light is off, all wiring is good but I can hear a faint buzzing noise from the amp. Thoughts? nothing, gutted

ncc74656
what part of your old amps died? Capacitors? Where can I buy parts for them? nothing, gutted
RooTxBeeR
I only tried to fix one, and yes a resistor fried. I tried to fix it but then some other part failed. If it is for sure blown, I would send it to someone reputable to fix it On 11/20/2012 at 8:54 PM, AMI CUSTOMS said: Turned mine up today at a light, guy next to me his steering wheel started moving and he looked over at me like I was a magician lol. Hugh G. Rection
I can hear a faint buzzing noise from the amp. Thoughts? make sure that buzzing noise isnt the fan inside the amp before you use that in an attempt to diagnose your problem.
