LT.Smoke
Sure would be nice if the damn harness I bought had some kind of direction as to what does what... LT.Smoke
I am SOO confused... I bought a range finder last weekend so I decided to take it out this morning to do some ranging to see how far off i was from actual 20-30-40 yd range for my pins... According to my range finder I am WAY off... Something just doesnt add up... I mean when i worked with my dad as a landsurveyor we had to pace out ranges ALL day every day so I would like to say i am pretty good at them... When i shot 21 yds with my new rangefinder it seemed like it was 40+ ... I guess i could have been that far off all along it just doesnt seem possible... n8ball2013
make sure you have something solid to range. Also make sure you know its on. Go to somewhere you know the distance of. Go to a football field stand at a goal post range the other goal post 100 yds plus 10 yards each for the endzones should range you at 120 yards give or take a half yard. or get out a tape and measure it out. Im pretty decent at guessing distances but there is nothing like a second source to verify it. n8ball2013
are you ranging on a level plane? No uphill downhill or anything? If so that could be the cause as well. If you are ranging like its from a stand you'll not range the same as if you are on a level plane. I dont think it would be that far off htough. LT.Smoke
The only thing I could possibly thing that would cause it to be fucked up is maybe the material the speed bag is made of... Its the woven shiny mesh like material... I dont know if that is really what is causing it but that is the only thing i can think... Also i was ranging from the ground I am trying to dial my bow in again after making some adjustments to it Team MaxRetribution Si Vis Pacem Parabellum Id rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 Bowhunting- Life Begins and Ends at Full Draw Bowhunting Team Fatal Trajectory Hunt Team http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/49335-sick96vtecaccords-t-line-build/?hl=sick96vtecaccord << Accord Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/68498-smokedout08impalas-tline-build/?hl=+sick96vtecaccord << Impala T-line build Rebassed.com for all your music needs 👌
n8ball2013
put something over it. Some burlap or a tshirt or anything non reflective and try it again. Either that or break out a tape and measure it out and see just how far off you are. Shouldn't take very long to do that with 20 and 30 yards etc. then stick some stakes in at those spots so you know where it is if you have to move stuff.
