Roland Jacques
They brand new or refurb? They look new, and are sold as new...
meade916
the T5's, properly tuned, are simply amazing. The best sounding mids/highs i have ever heard in my life. That is a great price. meade916
Im not saying its a bad price for the set in question. Im just saying for someone like me, the sound quality difference between them and a nice component set from pioneer or sundown or crescendo for about half the price wouldnt be worth it to me. those are simply not in the same league as a set of T5's. Sorry. BUT that being said, they still have to be tuned and positioned right. No brand automatically sounds great, you gotta put your work in. I had the tweets facing each other all week and WOW! Yeah positioning is what i was looking for. How you positioned your tweeters? Last night I made my tweeter pods to hit about 15 degrees off axis (Left side 15 D in front of my face, right side 15 d behind) Would you recommend using their Crossover? Looking at that elaborate Crossover i want to try it out, (running active off the HU right now) but i was wondering how much power will i loose to that crossover. The Crossover has a wired remote control with no power source...

mrmondaynight
If you plan on running active, skip the set. Those tweets look like vifa xt25's which are 20 bucks on parts express And the mids look like seas reference

Those tweets look like vifa xt25's which are 20 bucks on parts express And the mids look like seas reference look at this guy, recommending out of his ass instead of from experience. Those Xt25's don't look anything like a T5 tweeter. The Seas doesn't look ANYTHING like the T5 mid. Neither act like the T5 either. What was the point of your post? Those tweets look like vifa xt25's which are 20 bucks on parts express And the mids look like seas reference There's no comparison whatsoever with those, the XT25's look huge and I know seas make some good speakers but I bet there's no competition with the sound quality of the T5's versus "your" advise on the setup. You're just another douche that won't be on here long. You do know Rockford, JL, alpine, and the like source out the drivers in these high end sets, right? If you plan on running active, skip the set. Might be one of the best in car audio right now If going active, i see buying the set as waste. You'll get a better bang for buck piecing together raw drivers
