When I here people talking about loud subs. I here fi bl or btl and mayhems. But if you model these in win program there lower than other subs.

this statement is referring to sensitivity.

That program shows a 1 watt 1 meter plot.

think of it like this the cheap sub will be more efficient on lower power but when more power is applied to the higher end sub it will leave the other sub in the dust.

Type in 1000 watts for each speaker on that program then compare you will see what I mean.

dude what are you talking about?

who said an l7 is loud? if you think its loud then go with that.. sounds like you dont really know what you want.

Ok its hard to explain I had a kicker cvr 15 you could here it down the street. Now I have a AA havoc it sounds much better but can't be hear very far. What component made the kicker louder. But cvr did not sound good sq wise. Same box same amp. 3.5 cubes @32 hz on skar 1500.1

was the cvr also louder in the car?? i highly doubt it.

ORLY?

Are your posts always this informative?

there is also a huge difference in how sound carries at hz levels. A kicker cvr 15 boinking 50 hz will be heard from a further distance than a car playing some 30hz tones.

My example. Upper 40hz from outside of my car sou ds really loud but does not FEEL like it does when playing some low 30hz bass.
