cichlidfort Posted February 21, 2008 Report Share Posted February 21, 2008 So I just got my Hifonics Brutus 2607d amplifier today. I put in the ground, power, speaker, RCAs and remote wire. I then put the fuse in and I turn the car on. I had the gains on the amp completely down and my settings on my HU were low too. I go check the amp just to make sure it was ok to turn the gains up and the red light was on meaning its in protect mode. I was like wtf so I checked EVERYTHING. I checked the ground, changed out the fuse, checked all the wiring again and even switched out the speaker wire with different ones. My setup is in my signiture. I am running my L7s at 1 ohm.
