I've got an AQ 2200 on just the stock 130amp alt and some autozone battery I thinkI would get an extra battery. Also install a volt meter if you haven't already. soundstream15 Posted July 16, 2013 Author Report Share Posted July 16, 2013 no thread jacking lol jk well i know my stinger meter is a little off, it tends to read higher and if my alt does only read high 13s then its dropping to low 11s. anything below 12.8 is not good and below 12 is bad. im starting to save up for a alternator. also my tsumani wire i have is 250amps, my amp is 300amps, if i upgrade that, would that help voltage some? i guess since it would make the wire a little hotter then what it can handle? more resistance?
