95neon_thumper82 Posted July 20, 2013 Author Report Share Posted July 20, 2013 alright I think I got the deal so here's my thinking. since I'm gunning for a new car... and I'm junking my current and am yanking all my stuff out of it... the yellow top will go in the trunk. and I'll be seeking a better alternator for it also... probably a secondary. as I will probably be yanking the a/c pump out of my next car too.... I like these little cars for a couple reasons and the one I'm looking at has a manual tranny which will only make it better. I'm planning on a srt 4 alt to go in the stock location and maybe in the secondary location also... 260 amps is a fair deal seeing as stock neons have I think 110a alts... the big three hasn't been done on this one yet as money has been tight ther normal due to being off work for a surgery. but I'm going to be getting the kit to put in the new car when I get it. but everything is coming out of this car before it goes to the dismantler the srt alt will mean modifying the mounts. but they seem to be much heftier units and I have the knowledge and tools to do it. <img src=http://i1332.photobucket.com/albums/w610/beastly666bassboy/IMG_9611192581855_zps9b9b76be.jpg border=0 alt= height="75" width="800"> Growing old is necessary... growing up is an option!
