Nikitaaa
^ better yet, free air it with a 20hz tone to close to full xmax. That should wean out any issues or rubbing with the coil on the spot (if you manage to get it back into the gap) If it rubs, shit sorry bro. In that case if you can somehow find a way to remove the dustcap, surround, and spider, you can re-shim the coil and glue the surround and spider back into place. After you did that, remove the shims, glue the dustcap and hope for the best. Omega5002
I seriously doubt it's the subs themselves, especially since they were underpowered, and if it was the subs, they would have probably shitted themselves in the BHE box. 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)
IBleedMusick
Lets address this because you make it seem like i ignored you. When in fact I did reply to you few times. Like Scott said i was trying to finish my car. Yes the box is designed by 412cvx and he is not the known box killer one issue that caused a flame out and people never let it go. Not once did you tell me you were unhappy with the box. In fact you ranted and raved about how much you liked it. Three the reason it played so low in the bhe box was because it was made for vvxs so way smaller than this. I told you it wouldnt play as low as the bhe and to find the low point and stay there. To me it sounds like you were below tuning and the hill caused the subs to jump the gap. I paid your father for all services rendered and even paid him when he told me not too. I have built countless designs from Jesse with no issues at all but the minute people find out he designed it theres a problem. I am returning the 200 you paid for the box right now since you say youre unhappy with it. Also if it was the box it would have failed long time ago considering you full tilt on a daily basis and the box has been in for close to a month. 2013 Dodge Charger Build Log 1996 Ford Explorer XLT 5.0Build Log 2005 Honda Civic LX Coupe Build Log SMD SUPER SELLER!!!!My Selling Feedback

Swordlordboy1234
Below tuning? No dre. I can tell you it was regular juicebox. I'm sure its around 34hz. Second. Yes I full tilt almost all day but I had to spend a week finding songs that wouldn't bottom out my subs, I had to change all of my favorite songs. I don't want my 200 back. The box cost money, and you helped me like you said you would. You did nothing wrong besides have a box designed by someone who I never in a thousand years would have approved. I would have rather got a cut sheet from BHE, ram or the other box guys that don't have a rep, then replayed this whole situation with your help. Everything might have been fine. I don't want money back, I want my sub to work when I go try to get it unstuck And I want to compete in heatwave and have an amazing day Then when I get a chance, between college I'm gonna find out why my subs don't like this box, weather its a design fail, or wrong subs for this box... Whatever. I'm gonna address it. Did all the research I could on the topic. Tried to contact dre as much as I could for answers. Then spent the better part of 4 hours finding subs I could buy over night / recone I could over night so I don't get fucked before my very first show. As soon as this drama is over I'm gonna go get the drill downstairs and start pulling the sub out and see if I can get it to play. Pray to god it does. And shout out to aweso,e gf's.... Swordlordboy1234
I don't know, I vaguely remember someone having the same issue, not sure if the same subs, and he put it back in place and it worked. I wish I could remember who, I'd link you to it. It's one of those things that you know you saw or read, but just don't know the details of who or where. Sorry that's not much help is it. Worst case, just try it. Push on the sub after you do it and see if there's rubbing. Will do.. Thanks bro. A sub can play with rubbing right? It would just need a recone and align the thing with shims? Swordlordboy1234
I want to say that there are known issues with the ZVX's. Within the last week or so, a member on floridaspl said that Kevin had shipped out new subs to warranty the people who got the first run of failed ZVX's. Good luck with everything man. BHE is win, even if you have to wait a little longer for a design. No doubt BHE was awesome. I loved my box it was just too small... Hence this rebuild What issues with the ZVX's? Should I bother emailing Kevin? I know mine were purchased from him last December, hand delivered to me in Fort Lauderdale. CleanSierra
If the motor shifted in the gap, it may be damaged and you may be fucked. I doubt it's a box issue, the bump in the road sounds like the culprit to me. If never had the issue before the bump, and enough of a jarring motion could cause that motor to shift. On a side note, if the box wasn't designed for the subs you are now running, you know who is to blame for that. It's certainly not the designer or the builder's fault if you throw subs in that they did not design the box for. Good luck to you and I hope you get it playing before your comp. Sorry to hear about the crappy problem just days before the show Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
