crunkjuice1 Posted July 21, 2013 Report Posted July 21, 2013 Currently have one at 2ohm's off a NS1 I have a second one collecting dust but the thing is one is dual 4 and the other is dual 2 ohm coil. I'm going to be getting a recone kit very soon most likely another dual 4 ohm cone and just run wired to 1ohm. They are very good subs although not the best watt for watt or as sensitive as others but they will pound if fed good clean power. The only complaints I've read are the sensitivity and about sound quality compared to other brands but don't feel bad bro you and me both love what we got Oh yeah forgot to add mine are 15's

notorious97200 Posted July 21, 2013 Report Posted July 21, 2013 I've heared 2 on a MTX te4000 amp : they pound hard, even though the box was so small !! I would love to make a listen in a good box. They seem to be less musical than a Fi BTL, for eample, much less. black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a sealed box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.
crunkjuice1 Posted July 21, 2013 Report Posted July 21, 2013 it is very tempting to buy a 2ohm coil and go .5 to get more to them but I'd rather not
Soccerballzs Posted July 22, 2013 Author Report Posted July 22, 2013 What do you mean by less musical? Bass frequency is a mono not stereo sound. Can only play certain frequency anyways. When you get into high SPL levels you loose the musical part anyways. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/garage/vehicle/2438-jeep-commander/I Pioneer P99RSAmpere 38002-Ampere 125/44-6.5 inch Hertz HSK XL Mids4-8 inch JL Audio ZR Midwoofer 2-5.25 Satori Mids2-Morel Tweeters, 2 Hertz Milles 3 inch on A pillars2-Hertz Silk tweeters DC Audio Level 5/12 Skyhigh Wire Mechman 320 XS Power D3100MO Funniest Thread of the Year 2013: http://www.stevemead...dy-being-a-pos/
