EricM9104 Posted February 23, 2008 Report Posted February 23, 2008 i have 4 40 amp fuses and now i changed out my fuse block to a anl 120 amp. it was a maxi 100 amp fuse. the pawer wire is a 4 gauge street wire kit. it has more wire than plastic if that makes sense ( i seen some kits that had alot of plastic and less wire. Ummm, yea. No wonder the 100a fuse was blowing, the amp was trying to draw around 160a! step the positive and negative wire to 1/0ga, 200a fuse on amp power wire, than it'll be good.
