I found 2 sundown sa 12s for sale on Craigslist guy wants 250 says their 2 months old . My question is what should I look for as problems I thought I would bring my multimeter and check ohm levels of coils a flashlight and check color of coils anything else I should check thanks for your help

SnowDrifter Posted July 28, 2013 Report Posted July 28, 2013 Check for torn spiders/separated glue No tears/hole in the surround Ohm load of both coils No shifted magnet Free air them to full excursion and check that there is no clicking/popping/rubbing. A "whooshing" sound is normal.
