The races are staged for the show but every one of those guys will throw down on the street. Ive personally lined up against Boosted GT and that car is a straight beast on a 10.5 tire. We are both legitimate street cars sitting in the mid low 8 range, and he pulled hard on the street and I had to chase. The thing that Nova and all them guys have going for them is the people that have the cars to beat them on the street arent stupid enough to race them on the street and they wont put money down at the track cause they'll get walked. I could stage up and run with them with a small tire, small block turbo car. Ohhhh and that douche Chuck...claiming to be a "small tire" car....HAHAHA having a 10.5W tire is not a small tire thats almost 12" wide tire. a true small tire is a 10.5, which is 10.5" no wider. Plus he cant drive for shit....that car is all over the place every pass he makes. Their cars are fastest on the street because no one wants to risk wrecking their $150-200k race cars for a $500 street race. They bring that shit to the track....they'd go home broke and butthurt. LSX 408 w/ 91mm Precision Turbo Rear suspension getting plated!!! 100% low 8 sec street car!!! 1000+hp FTW!!! Audio-Concepts Posted August 8, 2013 Report Share Posted August 8, 2013 these were from testing...low boost runs and fine tuning suspension. eventually we went full boost and the car wobbled at mid track...so I added the wing. these passes were in the low 9 range @ 6 lbs.....when I ran full boost (26lbs) the cars best was an 8.19 @ 172mph. Now Im building another Notch to be a sleeper. I just order a 5.0 coyote motor and T-56 trans...and talking with Hellion turbos to run a twin turbo setup. Should be a 900-1000hp street car when done. Full racecraft/steeda front suspension and I am graphing in an 03-04 Cobra IRS. Basically going for a wicked fast street car that I can drive daily.
