If you are willing to modify the rear deck then would you consider firing the subs forward from the trunk and sealing off around the edges? What does the opening to the trunk look like with the rear seat folded down?

only reason I ask is because I miss having a trunk and 8s would fit in that back part of the trunk where it narrows. But I don't want to loose too much boom. just never heard the 8s on any power. just 150 watts lol

Since it isn't a hatch, or a wagon, it's gonna look a little weird I think.

I'd take out the backseat completely, and build a floor for the box to mount to if you are really set on doing this.
