I bumped and only dropped to 13.9-14. I do not have a ground currently from alt case to frame. That is my problem. Yes another battery wouldn't hurt but my current problem is heat through engine grounds. I'm just gunna ground that alt to the frame and call it a day. Get vcm and be happy. Haha in my defense I thought 3 0 gauge runs from engine would have been sufficient even with heat but I guess I was wrong. Socky Posted August 13, 2013 Report Share Posted August 13, 2013 get an external regulator, my brother was having bad drop with his 350 alt, he was dropping to 12.9 with 4 aq2200s and 4 c an d 106 ah and 1 d7500, we put a externally regulator and it unleashed it, now it doesnt drop below 14.4 when driving, and like 13.9 idling.
