I just sold the T1500-1bdCP and SA8s, and trashed the box. Next week/weekend, I plan on starting the amp rack. I would possibly be running AA/Fi if the wait wasn't like a month. My choice was really down between Fi and DC. It would've fit, but hat fit would've been tighter than a virgin. This current way still works, and doesn't look bad at all imo Let me get started by saying that my car has the WEIRDEST curves. Its not like they're symmetrical at all either haha.. So the amp rack was a bit of a bitch. Me with all my tools in a tight back seat thats only there for insurance reasons definitely wasn't fun lol But, heres a shot of when it was in "rough" shape. I cleaned her up a bit and bolted it in. My Ampere Audio amp will be behind my front stage amp and 3Sixty.2. It'll actually fill out that space really well. Where it does fill, Ill have beauty panels. When I reinstalled my 3Sixty and amp, I retuned ALL of my gains. My Alpine HU is clean at 35/35, and my 3Sixty output between 5.6 and 5.8 VAC (rated to do 5), so Im happy there On my mids and highs amp, I used SnowDrifter's -2.5dB tone. My god, what a difference! Here's the base for my sub box. My spare tire hump required be to raise the floor at least 3.75 inches. After talking to Robin Butler (who is actually cool as fawk), I have a box design figured out. I hit up Mike Singer too for a quick recommendation, and he recommended the same size port and tuning for my goals. Good shit Yes, the wiring is in bad shape right now.. but that'll all be cleaned up. I need to get zip ties. In fact, my three main pet peeves in car audio are messy wiring, not sealing off trunks, and subpar electrical. So, theres no doubt that the wiring will be fixed. My only other update for now is that I ordered the other sub on Monday. I hope to get it by next Friday. We'll see.
