Scott MacGyverjonez Evans Posted August 14, 2013 Author Report Posted August 14, 2013 Here is the back of the crv. Might be worth googling for the table. It is basically the entire cargo floor, but it's square so it isn't the complete floor. Excuse the quality, tough to get clear pics with an iPhone in the dark. Lol
Hellbilly429 Posted August 14, 2013 Report Posted August 14, 2013 That a 4 door? take the speakers out of the trunk locations, make a fiberglass enclosure where the speakers went, throw some 6.5" subwoofers in there, put it all back together. Then put speakers in the back doors (if there aren't any there already) Then it would keep stuff out of your way and look pretty much stock 2018 Honda Civic Sport Hatchback (build in progress) NVX Sound Deadener (Front Doors) Stinger FAST Rings Stock Electrical SSA Evil 6.5's Front Speakers Stock rear speakers MB Quart ONX4.80 speaker amp Rockford Fosgate T-1500bdcp DC Level 4 12" D1 @ 2-ohm Box In Design Stage Stock RadioMy Build Log
Scott MacGyverjonez Evans Posted August 14, 2013 Author Report Posted August 14, 2013 It is a 4 door, but I don't think the rear doors have speakers. I'd have to look. Only had it a week
OrionStang Posted August 14, 2013 Report Posted August 14, 2013 Too easy. Subs in those stock rear locations, and some badass drivers up front. You don't need rear fill. Unless you are worried about backseat passengers having their own speakers. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
Scott MacGyverjonez Evans Posted August 14, 2013 Author Report Posted August 14, 2013 That plan crossed my mind. Not real concerned with rear passengers, most times I'm alone driving and there will only be one other person with me while driving to the camp site.
Scott MacGyverjonez Evans Posted August 14, 2013 Author Report Posted August 14, 2013 I just didn't know 6.5" subs existed
smashedz28 Posted August 14, 2013 Report Posted August 14, 2013 Not sure if you have stereo shops around you but If so I would suggest going to all of them and listen to as many as you can. Of course your car won't exactly sound like their sound board but you will get an idea. Deaden your doors well. Good install is everything

TRON Posted August 14, 2013 Report Posted August 14, 2013 Speaker baffles (foam ones) are good too. I have them in all my doors in my Avalanche and they help reproduce audible frequencies down to 40hz And they protect your speakers from water or whatever sneaks inside your doors. Scott MacGyverjonez Evans Posted August 14, 2013 Author Report Posted August 14, 2013 Only thing I notice from the rear now is bass....... as much as the 13y/o stock speakers can make. Lol. I think I'll start checking out 6.5" subs. No real shops in town here(St. Augustine FL) it's a tiny ass town. I rarely drag myself up to Jacksonville, but I may try to hit a shop or two up there
