korndog2003
Its toasted, hooked it up in the store to an amp system and it won't do anything, smell, noise or move. I just hooked it up with new wire too. Well I did see a lot of medium density fibre board dust all over it.

wL<3bass
Nah my first thought was loose wire connection, checked all wiring and tinsel leads, tried to check the vc but it was dark and cold and count see with the little mag light. did you look at the tensil leads? Yeh gain was about 2/5 of the way up bass boost was about half. He was using "junk" as a figure of speech he calls everything "junk" you gotta know my brother LOL but he was mad b/c the sub is brand new (not even a month old) and about a week after he got it he sound got extremely weak as well as the excursion. Team Sundown's Charles
Well it as to be something in your wiring. I have a 06 15" L7 on a Zx1500 that been on Memphis, Alpine and other amps and now it on a zx1500 (1500 wrms) and I haven't had any problem out of it in 1 1/2 yrs that i have own it. The shop you got it from should replace it no question asked if its only a month old. I just blew a set of kicker tweeter and i just took them back to where I got them and they open another set and gave me a new tweeter out the brand new set of components. Did you get your sub from a local shop or did you get it off the internet? Was it new or Rebu ? But anyone you got it from should replace it with no problem.
