Need help with final tuning, having issues...

Ok so here's a video of my subs humming badly. No matter what the amp(s) settings are at (gain mainly but all others also) they seem to make a loud humming even with volume of deck at 0.

I used a DD-1 to set the gain on my highs/mids amp and everything went fine. I followed the instructions that came with the DD-1 to a *T* and read and re-read them just to make sure. When I went to DD-1 my sub amp the distortion light never came on even though i slowly turned gain all the way to max... Also my HU has 5V pre-outs. So I decided to check the distortion of the HU (volume) so I used the DD-1 to do that, straight to HU, not through amp method, again following DD-1 instructions to a *T* but the distortion light never came on even slowly going up to max volume. I had vehicle running during all the testing etc. If there is some thing I am missing or doing wring please help me out. Also, I should add that i have some interference coming through my highs and mids as well even with deck volume at 0, and gain on amp all the way down........

Also, my subs amps are wired to 2 Ohms each and not strapped and balanced with a CC-1 but they get so hot I can't hold my hand on them...thoughts guys?

My electrical is up to par, all RF OCF wire, over sized, extra runs, multiple 1/0 gauge power ground, 8 AWG speaker wire, etc. 3 XS power batteries, Mechman 370 alt, I'm sure someones gonna ask, lol

No one has ideas? Was hoping to wrap this thing up this weekend. I took out the amps and crossovers and checked all connections, basically re-wired and DD-1 and CC-1 everything, shortened up some runs, etc. etc. and eliminated crossovers all together. Hooked everything back up and still get the EXACT same results, loud humming in subs and hella feedback in mids/highs......like a buzzing kind of......

BEFORE while i was still hooking things up the first time

and the way it is currently to show that i had redone everything and moved it around some

I really am at a loss with what to do next, trying to trace it back to something but haven't been able to isolate it to anything. Trying to figure out what would be the common denominator is but haven't been able to do that either....HU possibly? I am about to just take it all out, lol, so frustrated......

I had this sort of problem once.. Was a grounded out RCA. It got pinched in a body clip when I was putting it back together

Does the humming change as you tap your fingers on the cone? I had something kinda similar..

I was told outputs on the amp were going bad.

I have had this issue before with noise coming threw the speakers. The only thing I did was check my ground but I also made sure that my power and ground wires were not next to or touching any speaker wires or rca's. I tend to run the power/ground on one side of the veh, the speaker/rca's on the other. there is a little lap in the front and some in the back but for about 90% they don't touch. Just my two cents and what I have done to fix it before.

Did ya'll have multiple amps also when you had these issues?

So basically i have to take out my interior again to find if a RCA is grounded out? my grounds and positives on batts are all tight. Wires too close to each other could be a problem but I tried to separate them to eliminate that as a possibility already today at one point but either way I wouldn't think it would make this big of a difference, my subs hum loud.....

fuuuuuuudge I really don't wanna rip interior out again. I really hate finishing an install and having issues like this, I tried to do everything meticulously the first time.....

Might be a hassle and may be a last effort but if u have a spare amp somewhere temporarily instal it and see if the sound goes away. If the same thing happens with both amps you can rule out a bad/damaged amp and concentrate on your install

I was running a t1000 bd and a 450.4 punch. When I grounded it out I blew the pico fuse in my avic z2 so I really had a hard time finding out my problem

I am at a point where I want to just take it all out

When I dd-1 my amp I have to turn the gain all the way up and still no distortion, then i have to turn the punch EQ up more than half before it shows distortion. With a 5v pre-out deck I was expecting a lot lower of a gain, you think the HU is causing so much interference through all speakers and amps and RCA's?
