ROLEXrifleman
OK, there is no way I'm getting my 2 12w7's in my truck with the level of effort I'm willing to give. So now that leaves me with 3 options. #1 a sure fit and an easy build. both 12's, each in 1.375 cubic foot sealed boxes per JL spec #2 a should be able to pull off fit. both 12's, each in a 1.75 cubic foot box with 24.5 square inches of port area tuned to 36.7hx per JL spec or #3 A single 12, in a 3 cubic foot box after with about 52 square inches of port tuned as low as I can I'm looking for as high a number on the term lab as possible while moving air. I know, wish in one hand shit in the other and see what happens. TIA for any and all help. Rolex you sicken me. HatersGonnaHate
Shit in one hand and see what happens. Best advice I can give at the moment. What kind of truck? Standard cab, extended cab, quad cab? Bench seats or captain's chairs? ROLEXrifleman
That's BassHead810's Mazda. Him and I have gone back and forth in PM's for the last year. He's the one that got me on the 2 JL trip. Hate, it's a 97 Crapalier with the fold down seat. 2 door Didn't think of the insert for tune-ablity, thanks! Rolex you sicken me. Naj
I'd go for a single sub in a bigger box
HatersGonnaHate
Ahhhh I was confused since your original post said truck, not trunk lol. Damn that auto correct. I would go for a forward facing box, sealed off from the trunk with a hefty amount of port. Port on the drivers side. The bigger the box, the lower you'd be able to tune, but of course, if you use multiple aeroports, your tuning is adjustable so you can switch back for term lab runs and daily listening. ROLEXrifleman
The plan was 3 cubes per sub which is way bigger than spec. It's just not going to work out. That's why I posted my options. Tired of not having a sub in the car Rolex you sicken me. Just let me finish my pie ~ Juice
