He's running more power than rated to it, a smaller box will perform better. 06 Mini Cooper S Sundown, SoundQubed Cadence, XS Power 151s Sealed 155s Outlaw Windshield @ 37hz
Jessica
i hear ya, but i'm running 4 in about 9 cubes and around 3k and they seem to do just fine. But then again, i'm not going to build a 7cube box to compare, lol. I may gain or lose but who can tell right? Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. TeamHT
I'm surprised no one caught this... OP, you have a D2 sub? But claim the sub is getting 800 watts rms which is what the amp is rated to do at 2 ohms. So you cannot be wired to 2 ohms nominal, either 1 ohm or 4 ohms. I wonder if you're wired to 4 ohms nominal. Also, you're going to want your sub level turned up, you're not getting full 4 volts output like that. How were the gains set? And I agree with Klown, for a single 12" I'd shoot for like 1-1.5^3 Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
