Omega5002
Yeah, you'd want at least 3 6' aeros then, which is expensive, I say go slot port, even if you have to drop the box down to 9 cubes, which should be fine for those 15's. 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)
Pauly1987
Ok will 3 more PVC pipes from Home Depot work? So I would have a total of 4 6inch ports at what ever length in order to be at 33hrz
Pauly1987
I'm trying to salvage this box I rather not slot port it
Krakin
I would make them all identical. I'm assuming that the port you ordered has flares on both ends of it. That will make that port different then the others. IMO either Go 4 PVC pipes or a single 12" aeroport. OrionStang
Dude, just build a new box. Even if it means you have to save up for a bit. Those subs deserve it. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

321slapinbass
im guessing the box is 10 cubes gross. so use 4x 6" ports at 27.5" long for a tuning of about 33hz and a net volume of about 7.6 cubes after sub and port displacement. also i would add some bracing and a double baffle for the subs. the bracing might rise you tuning a little but you wont be able to tell. 2000 Dodge Durango Subs - (2) SKAR VVX 15 D2's Box - 7.2 ft^3 @ 33hz, 120 in of port Sub amp - Digital Designs M2 @ .5 ohm Mids + Highs - PRV Audio Mids + Highs amp - Hifonics 2000.4 Headunit - Alpine CDE-100 Equalizer - Clarion EQS746 Batteries - Mopar group 27 + (2) C&D 52ah Wiring - 1/0 BIG 3, (2) runs 1/0 Alternator - Singer 250A 147.79 dB @ 35hz - burp - sealed on dash 147.47 dB @ 35hz - music - sealed on dash YOUTUBE: http://www.youtube.com/user/321slapinBass/videos
