audiofanaticz
PC has been running like a beast lately!! Had to reinstall windows again to get my crack to work. Damn uefi bios and gpt partitions ( and i just went thru this with my laptop a couple months ago) you think I would of remembered but nope... I also think its been well over 200hours on the thermal paste so Im wanting to bring it back down to stock clock speeds and retest thermal temps to see how great the AS5 fails or doesnt. I want to order some IC Diamond 7, but keep forgetting too. Here is a pic with the drives mounted
audiofanaticz
Finally an update!! Took me longer then what I wanted to buy a new video card. Was pretty much set on the "GTX Titan Killer" from AMD which is the R9 290X, well I watched the livestream on the conference in Hawaii and was like hell yea!! Then the release dates got pushed back and back, pre-order never opened up on time, and the cards didnt get released until something like OCT 29th. Still kind of wanted the card, but a few days later I heard about Nvidia releasing a GTX 780Ti on NOV 7th, so I held off on buying and waited for some tests on both cards to come out. While waiting I seen the GTX 780s get marked down to $$499.99 at this point i was very tempted since it was $50 cheaper then the 290X which was a tad faster, but it forced nvidia to be competitive which is always good no matter what company you root for. The morning of the 7th I watched a couple reviews and benchmarks and said yup thats my card, hit up a few people that owed me some cash, and that afternoon it was bought!! It finally got here today due to the weekend but oh well the wait was worth it!!!! So some pics! and back up and running Folding@Home (still got to change a couple settings yet tho I think). audiofanaticz
IIRC the new version of your card is also compatible in crossfire too, but you got to use the old card as your master, and the new card as the slave. Also your added on origin!
