slim8605 Posted February 27, 2008 Report Share Posted February 27, 2008 I had one and it went into protect a couple of times at 1ohm. That was just with HO alt. I didn't have any problems with it once I added a battery. I wouldn't risk it if I were you tho. PaulO2288 Posted February 27, 2008 Report Share Posted February 27, 2008 I knew a guy who ran 1 to 2 12" L7's daily and he owned a car audio shop in my area. He had to have the amp replaced about every 3 months but it put out a crap load of power. I wish i would have bought 2 ohm subs to run them to keep the amp at 2ohm.
