Sergeant_Skyrim
Not normal if it's a 12v battery charger. I think I read something about people disliking the Schumacker chargers or however you spell it. Build in progress

RooTxBeeR
I went to auto show and picked up a 1.5 amp charger that can shut itself off when it gets to high. Never read it fully, but it seems to be good, battery is still fine. Was cheap to, only $20. ChevyBoy95
You don't want a 1.5A charger unless you want it to take a week to charge a battery. You want find a charger around 10-15A, that charges at no more than like 14.5v. 15.5v is WAY to high for a 12v battery. Sergeant_Skyrim
Agree with those saying to get a larger amp charger. My little 1.25amp Battery Tender Plus took 3 and a half days to bring my XP3000 from 11.54->14.16 where it finally stopped charging and just stored it Build in progress
