NEW headunit LOUD pop/thump when turning off the key

Ive had a relay in the back for my amps/fans and lights for months without problem only changed the headunit

If I add a capacitor to my remote wire before it gets to my relay for the amps do you think this will keep them on just long enough for the headunit to turn off ? What capacitor should I use ?

Ya, let the "pro" who installed it fix it. Why should you need to o the leg work or even the fix if someone else took on the responsibility of the install! Did you pay this "pro" or was it a freebie 1am install. And we all know what type of quality goes into a job at 1am in a "pro" shop.

Call it a thread jack, but we all know the solution... take it back to the "pro"

I wouldn't touch anything, that way he can not say you were the cause or contributed to it.

Why Saturday? Does your schedule not allow you to get to his shop or does his job not allow him to get to be a "pro" installer?

_{n8 Chime in first. Relay to turn on everything amps eq fans what not. I ran a 8gauge( - ) 8gauge( +) from battery to head unit. I read years ago about this in a car audio mag. I'm OCD Bad out of the lou lou bad. I love wiring and running wire. I love thick azz wire too its sexy lolz. Somebody let me wire your shit up for a good deal. I know I'm good. Need to learn to post pictures. To prove it. And people on here when they ask for help don't flame there azz because they don't have it right just right yet. But it dose mean they can't learn from your hard work that you have done before them. But then the haters got to hate on someone knowing something. SOLVED: Removed the preamp, Clarion S476 hooked up direct to the headunit all is fine. Music sounds like shit now without an EQ an extra voltage but ill live with it for now till i get an Audio Control Matrix and a 6xs
