Dragonware Posted August 29, 2013 Report Posted August 29, 2013 Upgraded to a Pioneed AVH-X4500BT pro installed it so not sure why something would be wrong this guy knows his stuff over 30 years in the biz. when i turn off the key I get a very loud thud from my subs and pop from speakers. Only way to avoid is by turning off the Deck before i switch off the car. previously with my old deck the JVC would remain on even after i turned off the key for 10 mins and would only cut off when i open the door, but never had any thump/pop. SO far I have tried. Disconecting the amps RCA ins so no pop, problem is before the amps. Adding an extra ground to the factory ground on the wiring harness no change. any ideas ? BboyTaktix Posted August 29, 2013 Report Posted August 29, 2013 I had that same thing with my 2009 chevy cobalt, but with a clarion touch screen (MAX385VD) and only when I turned off the head unit while the car was on/running. Was strange, but since it didn't happen when I turned the key on/off like for you, it didn't bother me enough to find the issue.
